The Canberra Distillery French Earl Grey Gin

Fully embracing the tea inspiration in this gin, it heavily leans into the musky, heady floral characters. With lavender dominating the nose, along with some oily pine, creating a fragrant opening. The bergamot and juniper work tangentially to bring forward the more floral notes naturally in many gin botanicals, dried rose, and even a soft ginger flavour come to the surface. There is a sweetness in the flavours, but the palate remains dry, which helps to achieve a balance sometimes lost in floral gins. The Earl Grey flavours come together on the finish and leave with a distinctive tea note at the end.
