Owners Colin and Sandra Evans say the name of the business is intended to emphasise that no herbicides or systemic pesticides are used in the vineyard, which is on the western slopes of the Darling Range (weed control is achieved through mulching). Sandra does the vineyard work and helps with the night shift during vintage, she was also responsible for label, which shows a koala emerging from a barrel. The vineyard is within a short walk of Bells Rapids and close to the Walunga National Park. -JAMES HALLIDAY
