Our Review
Judith and Gary Berson have set their sights high. They established their vineyard without irrigation, emulating those of the Margaret River pioneers (including Moss Wood). The fully mature plantings comprise 4.2ha of chardonnay and 0.4ha of pinot noir; the remainder Bordeaux varieties with cabernet sauvignon (6.2ha), cabernet franc (0.5ha), malbec (1.7ha) and petit verdot (0.7ha). The cellar door overlooks the 20+yo vineyard. -JAMES HALLIDAY
