Salmon Run

Western Australia | Margaret River

Our Review

This virtual winery is anchored to the Margaret River region. It takes its name from the large schools of salmon that migrate from the Great Australian Bight, west along the coast around Cape Leeuwin, then north towards Rottnest Island on their spawning run. Local fishermen take full advantage of the abundance of fish for a few brief weeks, and the Salmon Run wines are (with a certain amount of poetic licence) made to enjoy with salmon. -JAMES HALLIDAY
