Our Review
John and Libby Staley, with daughter, Megan, her husband, Shane, and youngest grandson, Lewis, have all had hands-on involvement in the establishment of vineyards ? clearing bushland, rock picking, stick picking and planting, etc. The soils are gravelly loam over a clay granite base; the vineyard has a western aspect and is 5km from the Indian Ocean. Plantings include shiraz, cabernet sauvignon, merlot, semillon and sauvignon blanc. Exports to Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore. -JAMES HALLIDAY
