Chateau June-Jerome

Clinton and Melissa Robertson made the actual (and existential) move from ‘mines to vines’ in 2015 with the purchase of what is now the Château June-Jerome vineyard, and launched their first wine (a chardonnay) in 2017 under this label. The now 25yo vineyard is situated in the Southern Forest region of Manjimup. The 4ha vineyard is currently planted to chardonnay and cabernet sauvignon, with hand-picked fruit selected from the local region, including riesling, pinot noir, merlot and syrah. While not yet certified organic, the property is managed with minimal chemical intervention using organic principles. Available in WA only. -ERIN LARKIN
