Fearon

After 9 years at Vasse Felix (see separate listing), winemaker Tim Fearon and his partner Rachel Cryer moved to the Ferguson Valley to establish their own wine project. From their home vineyard – 3ha originally planted in ’03 to cabernet sauvignon and merlot, now mostly regrafted to chardonnay, fiano and grenache – plus a handful of sites across Geographe, they produce a range of small-batch, terroir-driven wines, their ultimate goal to showcase the region’s diversity and bring Geographe to broader attention. -ANNA WEBSTER
