Our Review
The fully mature Shantell vineyards provide the winery with a high quality fruit source; part is sold to other Yarra Valley makers, the remainder vinified at Shantell. Chardonnay, Semillon and Cabernet Sauvignon are its benchmark wines, sturdily reliable, sometimes outstanding. Production has decreased significantly, with the major part of the crop sold. -JAMES HALLIDAY
