Our Review
Helen’s Hill Estate is named after the previous owner of the property, Helen Fraser. Venture partners Andrew and Robyn McIntosh and Roma and Allan Nalder combined childhood farming experience with more recent careers in medicine and finance to establish the estate. It produces 2 labels: Helen’s Hill Estate and Ingram Road, both made onsite. Scott McCarthy has worked in the Barossa and Yarra valleys, Napa valley, Languedoc, the Loire valley and Marlborough. The winery, cellar door complex and elegant 140-seat restaurant command some of the best views in the valley. -JAMES HALLIDAY
