Bianchet

Bianchet is located on the fringe of the Yarra Valley. The 40yo dry-grown vineyard is planted to chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, pinot noir, merlot, shiraz, cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc. Perhaps the most unusual of the plantings is verduzzo, native to the Veneto region in Italy. The wines are made by Lindsay Corby of Cosmo Wines (see separate entry) who leases the winery and vineyard. The wines are only available at the Cosmo Wines cellar door, also located on the Bianchet property. -HALLIDAY TEAM
