Kensington Wines

This is the venture of husband and wife Anddy and Kandy Xu, born and raised in China but now residents in Australia. They have created a broad portfolio of wines by sourcing grapes and wines mostly from regions across Victoria, but also SA. While the primary market is China (and other Asian countries), the wines have not been made with residual sugar sweetness and are also sold in Australia. Kandy and Anddy’s purchase of the Rocky Passes Vineyard (and cellar door) in the Upper Goulburn region in '15 was a significant development in terms of their commitment to quality Australian wine. Kandy has broadened her own experience and wine qualifications by completing the WSET diploma and undertaking a vintage at Brown Brothers. She was co-founder of the Chinese Wine Association of Australia and continues as the chair. She has translated wine books into Mandarin, including my Top 100 Wineries of Australia.
