FIVE Vineyard

Named for the 5 members of the Vella family – parents Paul and Caroline and siblings Alex, Sam and Olivia – FIVE Vineyard is located in the suburb of Mernda, just 45 minutes from the Melbourne CBD. The family planted the first vines in ’19 and construction began in ’21 on the architecturally designed winery, restaurant and event centre, which is set among 14ha of vines. The estate is planted to sangiovese, shiraz, chardonnay and pinot noir, and the first vintage was in ’22. -JAMES HALLIDAY
