Our Review
Mont Rouge Estate was purchased in late 2016 by Jennifer Smith, Thea Salter and Jeffrey Smith, with Michael Kyberd (winemaker) and Geoff Clarke (vineyard manager) onboard. Both are veterans of the Mornington Peninsula, able to pick up the reins of the two vineyards (1.6ha each) in Red Hill and Main Ridge. The aim of the partners is disarmingly simple: to produce fine wine and fine food. -JAMES HALLIDAY
