Family Vignettes Vineyard

Central Equity co-founder Eddie Kutner AM and his wife Helen bought the stately Pasadera property in '19. It's a working farm, albeit with manicured grounds, comprising 46.5ha including 5.7ha planted to chardonnay and pinot noir. While the estate is also a holiday house for their 4 children and grandchildren, having established vines is a good enough reason as any to start a family wine label. Their son, Karl, an executive director at Central Equity, oversees the wine business and says it’s a labour of love for all the family. Just 2 wines feature, Tailor’s Son Pinot Noir (Eddie’s father was a tailor) and Artist’s Daughter Chardonnay (Helen’s father was an artist). -JANE FAULKNER
