Bob Nixon began the development of Gisborne Peak way back in 1978, planting his dream vineyard row by row. The tasting room has wide shaded verandahs, plenty of windows and sweeping views. The vineyard is planted to pinot noir, chardonnay, semillon, riesling and lagrein. -JAMES HALLIDAY
