Our Review
When the Coopers started planting in the early '80s there was scant knowledge of the best varieties for the region, let alone the Cobaw Ridge site. They have now settled on chardonnay and syrah; lagrein and close-planted, multi-clonal pinot noir are more recent arrivals to thrive. Cobaw Ridge is fully certified biodynamic, and all winery operations are carried out according to the biodynamic calendar. -JAMES HALLIDAY
