Our Review
First planted in 1990, King River Estate sits alongside the King River in the heart of the King Valley in Victoria's northeast. The almost 30-year-old vines produce an array of wines which reflect the character and Italian influence of the region. It came under new ownership in '18; it is still very much a family-run business, new investment has reinvigorated the winery and the cellar door experience. Prosecco made its debut in '18, while the Flying Duck range adds some zest to the line-up. Exports to Singapore. -JAMES HALLIDAY

Located on the Wangaratta – Whitfield Road in repurposed dairy and tobacco sheds, the King River Estate cellar door offers rustic surroundings on an expansive lawn area that guests are invited to enjoy with a glass or bottle of their preferred wine.
The cellar door team are passionate about the wines, their heritage and provide an experience that is sure to be memorable and with a stunning backdrop and close proximity to the King River will surely add to the “terroir”.
