Xavier Goodridge

Bendigo-born Xavier Goodridge launched his eponymous label in ’16, while working at Bress Wines, with a barrel of pinot noir. Despite adding chardonnay and pinot gris in the years since, pinot noir is still the focus. From the ’86-planted, 4ha vineyard he farms organically in Maffra, Gippsland, as well as from sites in Henty and Mount Gambier, Xavier produces a handful of premium single-site wines, alongside his affordable, easy-drinking Papa range. -HALLIDAY TEAM
