Fleet Wines

One of the most exciting new names in wine is Fleet, the brainchild of Lisa and Justin Jenkins. Fruit comes from established sites in Gippsland, Yarra Valley and Mornington Peninsula but their dream has been to establish their own estate, which started in ’17 when they bought 21ha at Leongatha. They built a winery in time for the ’23 vintage and have planted 2 plots, Block One to pinot noir and chardonnay and Block Two, an east-westerly aspect, to pinot gris and riesling. Lisa is finishing a bachelor of viticulture at Charles Sturt while both raise their children and vineyard. Eventually, they hope to plant 10ha all up and when the vines are mature enough, Fleet will be all estate made. Until then, Lisa and Justin say they are having fun with the transitional stuff.
