Our Review
Mattias and Lauren Utzinger have a lovely slice of land just out of Legana, which overlooks a sweeping bend of the Tamar River. It’s here they craft a beautiful range of thoughtfully made wines, wines with a sense of effortless elegance and inherent drinkability. The range includes riesling, fumé blanc, chardonnay, rosé, pinot noir and the delicious ‘Roter Satz’, a red field blend from West Tamar syrah, cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon, merlot and pinot noir. Utzinger Wines is definitely a name to scribble down in your little black book of producers to watch. -DAVE BROOKES
