Two Tonne

Two Tonne Tasmania was established in '13 by young gun winemaker Ricky Evans. Ricky has two other labels, Woodlawn and the funky Havilah, but Two Tonne Tasmania is where he gets to explore sub-regionality in his winemaking, sourcing grapes from several choice sites across Tasmania. Close to home, the Tamar Valley (TMV) wines are sourced from a number of sites across the region, including Relbia and the family property at Hillwood. The East Coast (EST) wines hail from the north-eastern coastline of the island and those designated (STH) are spruced from the Derwent and Coal River Valleys in southern Tasmania. Beautifully made wines across the board and one of Tasmania’s most exciting young producers. -DAVE BROOKES
