Padthaway Estate

For many years, until the opening of Stonehaven, this was the only functioning winery in Padthaway, in a large and gracious old stone woolshed set in the superb grounds of the estate; the homestead is in the Relais et Châteaux mould, offering luxurious accommodation and fine food. Sparkling wines have always been the speciality. In 2017 the estate was purchased by local vignerons David and Carolyn Brown, owners of Landaire. The Eliza range of sparkling wines will continue under the new brand, Landaire at Padthaway Estate. -JAMES HALLIDAY
