Price's Wines

Price’s Wines is a story of a man with a hankering to return to the land. Nick Price grew up on a farm on South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula. A decade ago he returned – to McLaren Vale, anyway, where he purchased a site on red, ferrous clay over a limestone substrata. Fruit is sourced from the Price's Wines estate and from McLaren Vale vineyards farther afield, to craft a suite of single-vineyard offerings, as a sort of negotiant-type dynamic. The wines are robust and distinctly old-school, despite the contemporary livery. -NED GOODWIN MW
