Chapel Hill

South Australia | McLaren Vale

Our Review

A leading medium-sized winery in McLaren Vale. In late '19 the business was purchased from the Swiss Thomas Schmidheiny group – which owns the respected Cuvaison winery in California and vineyards in Switzerland and Argentina – by Endeavour Drinks (part of the Woolworths group). Wine quality is unfailingly excellent. The production comes from estate plantings of shiraz, cabernet sauvignon, chardonnay and mourvèdre, plus contract-grown grapes. The red wines are made with minimal intervention, unfined and unfiltered. -JAMES HALLIDAY
