Aramis Vineyards

South Australia | McLaren Vale

Our Review

Aramis Vineyards was founded in '98 by Lee Flourentzou. Located barely 2km from the Gulf of St Vincent, it is one of the coolest sites in McLaren Vale, planted to shiraz (18ha) and cabernet sauvignon (8ha), the 2 varieties best suited to the site. This philosophy leads Aramis to source grapes from other regions that best represent each variety, including sauvignon blanc and chardonnay from Adelaide Hills and riesling from Eden Valley. The city-based cellar door also features wines from other boutique producers. Exports to the US, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and NZ. -JAMES HALLIDAY
