South Australia | Eden Valley

Our Review

Owned and run by the Hill-Smith family, Yalumba has a long commitment to quality and great vision in its selection of vineyard sites, new varieties and brands. It has always been a serious player at the top end of full-bodied Australian reds and was a pioneer in the use of screwcaps. It has a proud history of lateral thinking and rapid decision-making by a small group led by Robert Hill-Smith. The synergy of the range of brands, varieties and prices is obvious, but it received added lustre with the creation of The Caley. A founding member of Australia’s First Families of Wine. -JAMES HALLIDAY

Cellar Door

Housed in the building that was originally a Brandy Bond store in 1950, the Yalumba Wine Room gives guests the opportunity to experience everything Yalumba has to offer, and wine tasting is only the beginning.

Rich in history, the Yalumba wine room is accessible seven days a week, from 10am – 5pm and offers a range of experiences. This includes complimentary tastings and tasting flights, exclusive and behind the scenes tours of our famous on-site Cooperage, vineyard tours where guests can taste the wine in the vineyard from which the fruit is sourced, and a look through the Hill-Smith Family Museum. Guests may also enjoy a selection of artisanal platters paired with our fine wines.

Open daily 10am-4pm.
