Sorby Adams Wines

In '96 Simon Sorby Adams purchased a 3.2ha vineyard that had been planted by Pastor Franz Julius Lehmann (none other than Peter Lehmann’s father) in 1932. Simon added 0.25ha of viognier, which, as one might expect, is used in a shiraz viognier blend. Most recent plantings are of shiraz, riesling, cabernet sauvignon and traminer. Simon also purchased the Jellicoe vineyard at Mt McKenzie in 2006. -JAMES HALLIDAY
