Our Review
This is the highly unusual venture of Bryan Robertson, initially producing a single wine: MAXV. The Bordeaux varieties that go to produce MAXV are all grown in the Clare Valley, and individual varietal parcels are matured in 19 variations of 100% new French oak barrels. Primary fermentation takes place in barrel using what is called ‘vinification integrale'. MAXV has been joined by the Block 6 Shiraz. Exports to Singapore, Hong Kong and China. -JAMES HALLIDAY
