Our Review
Neil Pike has been part of the Clare Valley wine scene for 40 years and helped create and craft the success of Pikes Wines. In ’20, he retired from that juggernaut so the next generation could takeover. It was time, but he wasn’t finished with riesling. ‘I truly love making wine, riesling in particular, and I certainly love drinking riesling. So limefinger is good fun.’ Just 2 rieslings are made, one sourced from a vineyard he’s long admired in Watervale, the other from the 500 vines planted at his home property in Polish Hill River. -JANE FAULKNER
