Our Review

Richard and Val Sieber are the third generation to run Redlands, the family property, traditionally a cropping/grazing farm. They have diversified into viticulture with shiraz (14ha) occupying the lion's share, the remainder split between viognier, grenache and mourvedre. Exports to Canada and China. -JAMES HALLIDAY

<strong>Our goal is to produce great wines for everyone to enjoy!
The Sieber vineyards are part of “Redlands”, a 3rd generation family property, situated on the rich red soils of Western Barossa. Traditionally a cropping and grazing farm, owned and operated by Richard and Val Sieber and assisted by sons, Jarrod, Ben, Tom and Daniel. Growing vines for our own wine has been an exciting diversification.

We have 46 acres of vines in production, comprising 36 acres Shiraz, 5 acres Viogner, 2.5 acres Grenache and 2.5 acres Mataro. Ben, our viticulturist is aiming for 1.5 – 2 tonnes per acre to attain maximum quality fruit. Our winemaker, Tony Carapetis, then creates the style blends and variety of our wines.
