Outlaw Wines

South Australia | Barossa Valley

Our Review

Outlaw Wines is the after-hours venture of father-and-son team Damon and Jutt de Ruiter. The bulk of the estate fruit comes from 1.2ha of 130-year-old shiraz vines and is destined for Chateau Tanunda, where son Jett is employed part-time, while completing his winemaking studies. Some of the shiraz is held back for their own small Outlaw label, together with a little mataro purchased from Ebenezer. The cellar door is in fact the 40s Cafe in Angaston. -JAMES HALLIDAY
