Dominic Versace Wines

South Australia | Adelaide Plains

Our Review

Dominic Versace and brother-in-law Armando Verdiglione have a long association with wine, through their families in Italy and in Australia since 1980. In that year Dominic Versace planted shiraz, grenache and sangiovese (one of the earliest such plantings in Australia), selling the grapes until 1999. In 2000 the pair decided to pool their experience and resources, using the near-organically grown grapes from the Versace vineyard, and deliberately rustic winemaking techniques. Exports to Japan, Korea, China, Indonesia and Singapore. -JAMES HALLIDAY
