Romney Park Wines

South Australia | Adelaide Hills

Our Review

Rod and Rachel Short planted chardonnay, shiraz and pinot noir in 1997. Yields are limited to 3.7–5 tonnes per hectare for the red wines, and 2–3 tonnes for the chardonnay. The vineyard is managed organically, with guinea fowl cleaning up the insects, all vines hand-picked and hand-pruned. In every way (including the wines) has the beauty of a hand-painted miniature. Exports to China. -JAMES HALLIDAY
