Mr Murphy is an addition to the festoon of pulpy, sessionable wine styles found in every wine bar around the country. The wines are crafted with varying degrees of carbonic effect to achieve bright florals, effusive primary fruit and a soft structural latticework. The style of the wines and their irreverent labelling reflect trends in the market and maker Josh Amos-Winfield’s commercial nous. Josh managed pubs and cellar doors in a previous life, roles that provided insight into what was going down as opposed to what was not.
