Our Review
This is a large-scale negociant business which, in 2001, established its cellar door at the historic Stonyfell Winery. Winemaker Karl Gumpl followed in the footsteps of previous chief winemaker Michael Sawyer, the two working alongside each other for some years. Karl has had extensive experience in Australia and overseas. He selects bulk wines, blending and overseeing their development in oak before being bottled. Exports to the US, Nigeria, Taiwan, Korea, Singapore, Fiji and NZ. -JAMES HALLIDAY
