Red Earth Estate

New South Wales | Western Plains Zone

Our Review

Red Earth Estate, owned by Ken and Christine Borchardt, is the focal point of grapegrowing and winemaking in the Western Plains Zone. They have planted riesling, verdelho, frontignac, grenache, shiraz, cabernet sauvignon and a small amount of torrentes (supplemented by purchased grapes). The winery has a capacity of 14 000 dozen, and the Borchardts offer contract winemaking facilities for others in the region. Exports to China. -JAMES HALLIDAY
