Byrne Farm

New South Wales | Orange

Our Review

After working for 20 years in the Hunter Valley, Jeffrey and Bridgette Byrne made the move to Orange, settling on a historic orchard property called ‘Glenidle’ in the Nashdale region. Situated at 900m elevation on the north side of Mt Canobolas, Jeff says an ideal spot to plant chardonnay and pinot noir as well as figs, cherries, apples and peaches, which are served our cheese platters when in season. After being involved in a few local winery projects from ’20–’22 when we moved to Orange, the family built a winery on the property, with first vintage in ’23. A further 3ha of vines are soon to be planted.  -HALLIDAY TEAM
