L'Enologa Wines

Elizabeth Marwood was born in Western Australia, and after 15 years' winemaking experience, moved to the Murray Darling in 2009. The move was triggered by completion of a year- long Masters degree in Italy at the University of Gastronomic Sciences. After working in a commercial winery for a few years, an opportunity arose to purchase alternative Italian varieties from the Chalmers Merbein Vineyard, and make small batch wines under the L'Enologa Wines label, L'Enologa being the Italian feminine form of winemaker. The ethos behind the brand is the selection of the correct varieties for the climate where they are grown. -JAMES HALLIDAY
