Our Review
Robert Oatley Vineyards, founded by the late Robert (Bob) Oatley AO BEM, is a family-owned winery led by his eldest son Sandy Oatley who, with his father, brother and sister, planted the first Oatley vineyards in the late 1960s. The Robert Oatley brand has a trio of labels producing wines from Margaret River, Great Southern and McLaren Vale: the Signature Series, particular vineyard sites with Finisterre, and the best of the best barrels under The Pennant. Previously based in Margaret River, the cellar door is now in Mudgee, where the family also produces wines for Mudgee labels, Montrose and Craigmoor. -JAMES HALLIDAY
