Phil and Lucy Griffiths purchased the property sight unseen from a description in an old copy of the Weekend Australian found in the Australian High Commission Office in London. The vineyard they established is on the banks of the Hunter River, opposite Wyndham Estate, on relatively fertile, sandy clay loam. Competent winemaking has resulted in good wines, some of which have already had show success. Exports to the UK. -JAMES HALLIDAY
