Our Review
Ashley and Lauren Horner have a certified organic vineyard planted to chardonnay, viognier and shiraz. Grapes are also sourced from organic vineyards in Orange and Cowra. Ashley had a 14-year career working at Rosemount Estate, Penfolds, Kamberra Estate, Saint Clair (NZ) and Mount Pleasant, ultimately becoming winemaker at Tamburlaine and completing a diploma in wine technology at Dookie College. Lauren has a degree in hospitality and tourism and is now involved in the running of Horner Wines. The move from grapegrowing to winemaking was precipitated by the fall in demand for grape.
