Head and neck surgeon Ian Kalnins and wife Ildi have established Ghost Riders Vineyard in association with their accommodation business, Hermitage Hideaway (accommodating up to 16 guests). Their 2.5ha vineyard is planted to shiraz, chardonnay and viognier, the viognier co-fermented with the shiraz. -JAMES HALLIDAY
