Carillion Wines

In '00 the Davis family decided to select certain parcels of fruit from their 28ha Davis Family Vineyard in the Hunter Valley, along with the family’s other vineyards in Orange (the 30ha Carillion Vineyard) and Wrattonbully (the 90ha Stonefields Vineyard), to make wines that are a true expression of their location. In recent years Tim Davis has taken over the reins from his father John, and brought these wines under the Carillion banner. He also launched the Lovable Rogue range of wines, which highlights his keen interest in alternative grape varieties (particularly Italian), as well as exploring innovative and experimental winemaking methods. -JAMES HALLIDAY
