Our Review
Former Sydney car dealer Mike Eagan and wife Min moved to Scone to establish a horse stud; the vineyard came later (in 1994) but is now a major part of the business, with 32ha of vines. Most of the grapes are sold; part is vinified for Birnam Wood. Son Matthew has now joined the business after working for five years for Tyrrells in its export department. Exports to Switzerland, Canada and China. -JAMES HALLIDAY
