Our Review
Lerida Estate owes a great deal to the inspiration of Dr Edgar Riek; it is planted immediately to the south of Edgar’s former Lake George vineyard. Lerida is planted mainly to pinot noir, with pinot gris, chardonnay, shiraz, merlot and cabernet franc and viognier also onsite. Michael and Tracey McRoberts purchased Lerida in 2017 and significant expansion is underway. They have leased a 20yo shiraz vineyard (4ha) in the heart of Murrumbateman and shiraz has overtaken pinot noir as the predominant variety produced. The Glen Murcutt–designed winery, barrel room, cellar door and restaurant have spectacular views over Lake George. -JAMES HALLIDAY

Café Lerida commenced trading in 2006 and has built up a loyal following over the years. With a full-time chef on hand the restaurant serves a great range of dishes to suit different tastes, food preferences and budgets. Whether you are looking for a quick coffee and snack, a three course lunch or plan to graze and sip the afternoon away we have you covered.
Sit by the open fire in the winter, or in the courtyard overlooking the vineyard and Lake George in the warmer months. On Sundays bring some family, friends or colleagues to enjoy the live music between 12.30 – 3.00.
