Australian sparkling is coming of age, and increasingly receiving global recognition. The sparkling epicentre of Tasmania again takes the lead in our list of superstars, with a line-up of splendour spanning three decades that dominates almost 40% of our shortlist. The cool mainland zones of Adelaide Hills and King Valley each mount a noble challenge, and one of the finest sparkling wines ever to emerge from the Adelaide Hills pipped Tasmania at the post for the top gong.
