2011 Meerea Park Alexander Munro Individual Vineyard Aged Release Semillon
The Tallawanta vineyard is best known for sublime shiraz with a 50-year life span, but if the vintage was very good – as in this case – semillon is nipping at its heels. I've decided that this wine is too great to spit out as I write this tasting note. The detail, the balance, the length, the aftertaste ... all perfect. – James Halliday
