The annual Penfolds Collection is due for release on Thursday, October 19, with some of the coveted bottles featuring a distinctive new design with embossed detail.
Alongside the highly anticipated 2013 Grange (RRP $850) – which is already being touted as being among the winery’s best – is the trio of stellar chardonnays comprising the 2015 Yattarna Chardonnay (RRP $150), 2016 Reserve Bin A Chardonnay (RRP $125) and the 2016 Bin 311 Tumbarumba Chardonnay (RRP $45).
New vintages of long-time favourite reds include the 2015 Bin 389 Cabernet Shiraz (RRP $95), 2015 Bin 407 Cabernet Sauvignon (RRP $95) and 2015 RWT Barossa Valley Shiraz (RRP $200), plus other standouts such as the 2015 Bin 128 Coonawarra Shiraz (RRP $45).
The 2013 Grange marks the 63rd consecutive release of this iconic wine and follows the much-celebrated 2012 vintage. For full details on the 2017 collection, visit penfolds.com
