Grenache is a juicy, medium-bodied red wine with homes around the world, from France to Spain and the USA. On our soils, some of the most complex styles come from South Australia, with McLaren Vale being a particular champion and the Barossa also delivering excellent examples. The Cotes du Rhone-inspired GSM blend (grenache, shiraz and mourvedre) has found favour with Australian drinkers and is one of the reasons there's been a resurgence of these wines on bottle shop shelves.
