When it comes to quality, Margaret River is an absolute powerhouse – as this list of 10 white and 11 red wines, each rated 95 points or higher, demonstrates.

Margaret River, the wine enthusiasts’ coastal playground, has long cemented its top-tier status as a region for premium chardonnay and cabernet sauvignon. To mention so, lands with an air of infantilism. Though joining in with the stalwart estates – across its 110km (north to south), 213,000 ha stretch of land – is a confident new guard of producers that are producing expressive and diverse varieties, including tannat, chenin blanc and cabernet franc.

From Cullen to Leeuwin, Yeah Wine to Corymbia, below you’ll find a snapshot of today’s Margaret River, and the view is as good as ever.
